Thames Path Eco Tour - Richmond to Hampton Court Palace

A great expedition along the west branch of the Thames Path between two of the most beautiful and royal points in London’s suburbs, Richmond and Hampton Court. We go on from the social buzz of Richmond to explore willowy paths, revelling in wild flowers, birdsong and sky. This is a good 6.5 mile stretch passing through long lazy meadows and tree-lined banks, while sticking to the river all the way.

We pass Kingston, and finish at Hampton Court Palace. Hampton Court is one of the finest palaces in the world; it was first built in the 11th century. Expanded by William the third as a rival to Versailles, the palace has two distinct architectural styles, Baroque and Tudor.

We can drop you off at the train station, or you can continue your day by visiting the inside of the Palace Grounds (entry is charged by Hampton Court Palace).
