The Green London Urban Eco Tour
|
London’s
answer to the Eden Project - Green London, is the UK’s new urban eco tour. It provides a crash course in environmental issues in just two and a half hours, as well as taking a look at London's most famous and impressive landmarks.
It’s a
unique walking tour of London led by knowledgeable, enthusiastic guides.
It’s fun, and you still get to learn a lot.
The tour provides a great day out for those
wanting to learn and those already committed to the environment. It is
an inspirational catalyst for motivation, ideas, and knowledge exchange.
There is a basic assumption in the media and
reports that we understand the scientific concepts of climate change.
Unfortunately many people, even those making policy don’t, and it is not
possible to append a science lesson to the front of every article!
Filling this knowledge gap with the facts you
really need to know, in an interesting, engaging format is the role of
Green London.
(Did you
know BTW that we use up more energy in London than the whole of
Greece?!)
Green London is for tourists,
individuals, policy makers, educational groups and any other interested
party. It is also highly recommended for company, organisational and CSR
groups.
If you have no environmental
understanding whatsoever, want to refresh, or are environmentally aware
and just want to take part, Green London is for you.

How
well do you understand the Science of
Climate Change?
· Do you know what a ton of CO2 looks like?
· How can you weigh CO2 anyway, it's a gass?
·
We know the ice caps are melting right, but when?
· If the suns heat gets trapped under the greenhouse
gases, why doesn’t it just bounce off the top?
· How is London relevant to climate change in a global
environment?
